was founded in 2002 out of UNC Kenan-Flagler's incubator. The company
currently operates out of its Raleigh, NC offices.

A
consultant for eight years prior to business school, is leading
the effort.
He identified the company’s core patent and realized its
potential. His extensive experience in small business gives him
a great feel for developing the company. As a project leader with
great autonomy, he developed an acute awareness of working with
limited resources to accomplish goals. He was recognized by the
Kenan-Flagler / Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology Venturing
(CETV) program for his contributions to the entrepreneurial community
while he was an MBA student at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business
School. Dan received his BA in Environmental Science from Clark
University. He has worked on the Singras concept for since mid-2001
and will manage the company through its early stages.

Randy
Diefenthal
Engineering & Sales

Randy
comes to Singras with a combination of sales, management and engineering
experience. Most recently, Randy has been in Sales of chemical equipment
and as an assistant broker at Salomon Smith Barney. He also founded
a small environmental consulting firm, taking it from its startup
through its sale three years later. He also worked with Shell and
Exxon designing off-shore platforms and in operations at a plastics
manufacturer and metal fabrication operation. Randy has a
bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University
and an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
He is currently overseeing the equipment design and development as
well as sales and partnerships at Singras.

Chirag
Nanavati

Chirag
most recently worked with the First Flight Venture Fund as a venture
associate. Prior to receiving his MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, Chirag
was a research scientist at Honeywell where he worked on new product
related as well as process improvement projects. His enthusiasm and
drive has been rewarded with several individual achievement awards
while at Honeywell. He was also selected as the Kenan-Flagler / CETV
entrepreneur of the year. Chirag completed his BS in Computer Science
from Michigan Tech. He has worked on the Singras concept since late-2001
and is currently working with the entrepreneurial community and in
a business development role as Singras develops. |
